Freda V. Bottomley

	Freda Viola Bottomley entered into heaven on March 7, 2005 at 3:50 a.m. in the Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin.
	Freda was born on March 11, 1915 in Du Quoin, the daughter of Jake and Tillie (Schneider) Dirler.  She married James C. Bottomley on May 5, 1938 in Du Quoin and he preceded her in death on August 5, 1990.  Freda was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin and enjoyed gardening, fishing, playing bingo, and working in her yard.
	She is survived by a son, Ronald Bottomley and wife Karen of Morris, Ill., two daughters, Janet Eubanks and husband Ben of Du Quoin, and Carole Wells and husband Sam of Olney, Ill., a brother Syl Dirler and wife Rose of Du Quoin, a sister-in-law, Julia Etta (Bottomley) Heine of Morris, Ill.,  eight grandchildren, Rhonda Swaim and husband Mike of Harvest, AL, James Bottomley and wife Tammy of Gurley, Ala., Pamula Bottomley of Franklin, Pa., James Eubanks and wife Monika, Benjamin Neal Eubanks and wife Cathy, Christopher Albers and wife Samantha, Amy Cashion and husband Darnell, all of Du Quoin, and Susan Harris and husband Kevin of Ballwin, Mo., and 19 great-grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister Lillian Quigley.
	A funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 11, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin with Msgr. Harry Jerome officiating.  Interment will be in the Scared Heart Cemetery in Du Quoin.
	Visitation will be held at the Pyatt-Harrawood & Epplin Funeral Home in Du Quoin on Friday, March 11, 2005 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.   The Rosary will be said at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.  
	Memorials may be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic School, American Cancer Society, or Alzheimer's Association.
